Short-format audiovisual creations
We invite submissions of short films engaging with the theme Reclaiming Our Futures. Selected films will be screened during the festival as part of a collective program of artistic and scientific audiovisual works.
Short films May Be:
artistic; Scientific; experimental; documentary; Fictional; speculative, Activist; research-based; etc.
Possible Themes include:
Language Pluralities; Slow technological futures; Critical AI Literacy; Convivial Tools; Social Justice; Epistemic Justice; Indigenous Futures; Multispecies relations; Pluriversality; decoloniality; care and repair; Speculative Futures; etc.
To suggest your idea, please complete the submission form by July 6th, 2026.
Within the online form, we will ask you to provide:
>>> Either a written abstract (max. 200 words) or an Audio/video abstract (max. 5 minutes) outlining your contribution’s focus and format.
>>> A positionality statement (max. 150 words or 3 minutes) highlighting your reflexivity and approach to your practice.
>>> Any technical, physical, or spatial requirement you may need.
Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by July 17, 2026.
Reclaiming Our Futures is an invitation to voice your wildest ideas in the wildest ways.
